Richard J. Proia, LUTCF
President
Richard Proia is President of SR Financial and is a Licensed Independent Financial Professional who has been helping his clients with retirement planning strategies since 1990. Richard specializes in annuities most beneficial to seniors. He is committed to providing extensive, objective and creative strategies for each individual to help them meet the unique challenges they will face throughout their lifetime. Afterwards, he helps to monitor and adjust the strategy over time as needed. His holistic financial planning strategy has allowed him to quickly become successful in his line of work.
He knows accumulations vehicles and their suitability to any given investment objective. Additionally, and in particular for seniors, Richard knows how to sidestep Medicaid dependence and increase opportunities to leave a legacy to future generations. Rick has facilitated several retirement seminars in South Florida presenting his investment ideas and up-to-date products.
Richard is certified Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF), reflecting his specialized training and demonstrated proficiency in retirement investments, estate planning and guidance for seniors. He believes in his continual education and becoming more prepared with each passing year for improved performance.
Richard is an active member of his community and is a veteran of the US Marine Corps. He is also an avid fitness devotee and coaches’ youth flag football and baseball.
Evelyn Ojeda-Diaz
Executive Assistant
Evelyn Ojeda-Diaz is the Executive Assistant to the President of SR Financial Group. As the lead administrative professional at SR Financial, Evelyn provides executive-level assistance to the President, manages the office, and assists in the facilitation and execution of administrative responsibilities throughout SR Financial. As the executive assistant she is responsible for calendar maintenance, preparation of correspondence and presentations, coordination of travel arrangements (and resulting expense statements), facilitation of meeting arrangements, processing of visit requests, and monitoring of all action and signature items. In addition, Evelyn represents SR Financial on several city-wide initiatives and committees related to office administration and financial planning. Evelyn has been a part of SR Financial for four years and has contributed her extensive knowledge of business and operational procedures and guidance; she is most adept at maneuvering and executing toward mission accomplishment within numerous internal business systems. Evelyn’s attended Springfield College, Springfield, MA and her previous position includes working for the Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital (New Haven, CT) where she reported to the Executive Vice President of the Children’s Hospital. While there, she provided administrative support to several volunteer groups and also coordinated charity events and other functions for the children’s hospital.
